Here in Toronto, and the GTA at large, we are very lucky to have a large selection of stores/organizations where you can buy, sell and donate used/secondhand items. From larger chain ones (see chart below), to small, independent ones that can be categorized as vintage, antique or consignment, there are so many places to purchase products secondhand. Then there's the ever-growing online market of secondhand finds... From online marketplaces to trading & selling apps (see my Awesome Alternatives page), you can buy, sell, or trade nearly anything now thanks to the internet! Swaps are also making a comeback, so be sure to keep an eye out in your community for those, join Facebook groups that post about them, or consider hosting one with family and friends yourself!
